Surgery

Please remove all make-up, including finger and toe nail polish prior to surgery.

Wear loose comfortable clothing.

Please bring all pertinent diagnostic tests such as x-rays and MRI's.

Arrive 2 hours prior to your schedualed surgery.

A responsible adult must accompany you to the hospital.

Upon arrival to the hospital, please proceed to the holding area. After you are registered you will be asked to disrobe and change into a hospital gown. At this time, you will meet your anesthesiologist, I encourage you to ask he/she any questions regarding anesthesia at this time. Next, I will sit with you and discuss the details of the proposed surgery, answer any questions you may have and initial the operative sight. You will than be escorted into the operating room for your surgery. At this time your family and friends will be escorted into the waiting area, where, upon completion of the surgery, I will speak to them.
