Surgery

Do not eat or drink after midnight the evening prior to your surgery

Please arrive at the hospital 2 hours prior to your surgery.

Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing.

Leave all valuables at home.

You must arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you home after surgery. You cannot leave the hospital without an escort. You are not allowed to drive yourself home nor are you allowed to take a taxi home without an escort.

Please stop all aspirin or aspirin containing products one week prior to surgery. This includes non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Naprosyn, Motrin, Aleve and Celebrex.

The hospital will contact you the day prior to surgery and inform you or the time of surgery. If they do not contact you by 3:00 pm., please contact either the Manhattan (212
